Corporate MC Australia

Keep your program tight, your speakers supported, & your stakeholders confident.

I host like a presenter and think like a producer: disciplined pacing, brand-safe energy, and a room that stays connected from open to close, without your team managing a single moving part on the day.

Service Overview

What does a corporate MC do?

A corporate MC manages the delivery of your event program: controlling pacing, supporting speakers, guiding the audience, coordinating with your event team and AV, and protecting the run of show from start to finish.

Nathan Cassar is an award-winning, cruise-ship trained MC, presenter, and event host who operates as an Event Producer, combining presenter-grade delivery with producer-level control across conferences, awards nights, gala dinners, panels, launches, and stakeholder events across Sydney and Australia.

You are not paying for someone to hold a microphone. You are paying for the program to land cleanly and the message to stick.

Not only did he engage the audience, but he also inspired them, playing a key role in helping us meet and exceed our fundraising goals for the evening. His warm presence made a lasting impact on our guests, and his commitment to our cause was clear throughout. I highly recommend Nathan Cassar for any event looking to create a meaningful and memorable experience. – Janice Selim , CEO, No Taps Foundation

Nathan was a highly engaging, enthusiastic, knowledgable and professional MC at the 2023 Sydney Marathon, based at the Half Marathon and Family Fun Run finish line. It was a pleasure to have him as part of our extended entertainment team and will definitely invite him back to MC future events that we run.

Services

What the Event Producer approach includes

Conference and multi-session program hosting

A conference MC is not a warm-up act. They are the person who holds the entire program together. I manage content transitions, maintain momentum between sessions, keep timing on track with diplomacy, and support each speaker so they walk into a room that is ready to listen. For multi-session and multi-day programs, I work alongside your event team in real time, adapting to changes without disrupting the run of show.

The program stays tight. The energy stays right. Your audience stays with you, session after session.

Past conference and program engagements include the MAdVerse Intrigue Summit, BeatMix Conference, and the Australian Hydrographers’ Association Conference

Awards nights and gala dinner hosting

An awards night lives or dies on its pacing and its presenter. I manage the rhythm of the evening from the opening welcome through to the final award, ensuring each category lands with the right weight, winners feel celebrated, and the room holds its energy without losing the formality the occasion requires. Every category, sponsor mention, and presenter handover is rehearsed and scripted before the night, then delivered to time, every time.

Scripting, award reads, presenter briefings, and live coordination with your AV team and show caller are all part of how I work.

Past awards and gala engagements include the Australian Event Awards, REA Awards Night, City of Parramatta Citizen of the Year Awards, and gala events for Cancer Council Australia and Legrand Australia.

Panel facilitation, fireside chats, and moderated sessions

Strong panels need an active moderator, not a passive introducer. I brief panellists in advance, develop questions in consultation with your team, manage time across the session with diplomacy, and guide audience Q&A so the conversation stays substantive and on brand. Speakers feel supported, dominant voices are managed without friction, and the audience gets a session worth their attention.

This applies equally to fireside chats, executive interviews, multi-speaker forums, and moderated breakout sessions.

Past moderation and facilitation engagements include panels and forums for MAUM.AI Seminar Series, the Australian Events Symposium, the Cumberland City Business Converge, and the Future of Events Summit.

Brand-safe hosting for launches and stakeholder events

When your brand is on stage, every word matters. I work within your approved brief, scripting guidelines, and compliance requirements, adapting tone and energy to suit the audience without drifting off-brand. CTA moments are clean and purposeful, key messages land where they are meant to, and nothing goes off-script without agreement.

This applies whether the audience is internal (leadership programs, town halls, all-hands), client-facing (launches, partner events, account celebrations, end-of-year functions), or public (brand activations and consumer events).

Past brand and stakeholder engagements include work for IGT Australia, Marlow Hotel Group, , Taurus Marketing, Carnival Australia Sydney Halloween Activation, Centurion, and Standards Australia,  along with civic and community partners including Northern Beaches Council, Camden Council, and Campbelltown City Council.

Charity functions, fundraisers, and cause-led corporate events

Cause-led corporate events carry a distinct brief: the mission must land, the donors and partners must feel seen, and the program must hold. I bring the same disciplined hosting standard to charity functions and fundraising events, ensuring the cause stays front and centre, the key moments land cleanly, and every stakeholder, from major donors to event volunteers, feels supported.

Past charity and cause-led engagements include the Gotcha4Life Charity Race Day, One Door Mental Health Wellness Walk, and the Bloody Long Walk, and events for Cancer Council Australia, Lions Club International, Goodera, and the No Taps Foundation.

How a corporate MC engagement works

Step 1

Scoping call

We have a focused conversation about your event: format, audience, program structure, key stakeholders, and any sensitivities. This gives me what I need to provide an accurate quote and a clear hosting approach.

Step 2

Proposal and scope confirmation

You receive a written proposal outlining the scope, inclusions, hosting approach, and investment. Corporate engagements are scoped and quoted to the event — not fixed — so the quote reflects your actual requirements.

Step 3

Briefing, scripting, and rehearsal

In the lead-up to the event, I develop the run of show, script, and speaker briefs in collaboration with your team as required. Where rehearsal is included and confirmed in writing, I attend and prepare accordingly.

Step 4

Your event, delivered with confidence

On the day, I manage the full program: transitions, timing, speakers, audience guidance, and real-time problem-solving — so your team can focus on delivery success, not damage control.

Corporate MC Investment

Corporate MC investment

Scoped and quoted to your event.

Corporate engagements vary significantly by format, duration, preparation requirements, and risk profile. Fixed pricing creates misalignment and weakens delivery standards. Once I understand your event, I provide a clear quote and a detailed hosting approach.

What affects the scope and quote:

  • Event date, location, and audience size
  • Event format and total run time
  • Number of segments, speakers, and session types
  • Speaker types (internal, external, VIP)
  • Rehearsal requirements and approval workflow
  • Panel, awards, or multi-session complexity
  • Brand, compliance, and sensitivity considerations
  • AV environment, cueing, and show caller structure
  • Travel requirements

*25% non-refundable retainer to secure the booking and lock in the date
Remaining balance invoiced post event, payable within fourteen (14) calendar days

FAQs

Frequently asked questions about Corporate MC services

A corporate MC manages the delivery of your event program: opening and closing the event, introducing speakers, controlling pacing and transitions, facilitating panels, coordinating with your AV and event team, and keeping the audience oriented and engaged throughout. Nathan Cassar operates as an Event Producer — combining presenter-grade delivery with producer-level control so your program runs cleanly and your stakeholders feel confident.

Nathan Cassar hosts the full range of corporate events: conferences, awards nights, gala dinners, town halls, leadership events, product launches, brand activations, client events, panels, fireside chats, and multi-speaker programs. Each engagement is approached with the same standard: disciplined pacing, speaker support, and brand-safe energy.

Yes, in collaboration with your team. Script development is part of the scoping process and is included where confirmed in writing. I work within your brand guidelines, tone, and any compliance or legal requirements, and all scripted content goes through your approvals process before the event.

As early as possible — particularly for events with complex programs, multiple stakeholders, or approval workflows that require lead time. For large-scale events, bookings three to six months in advance (or even longer lead times) are common. For shorter lead times, enquire directly and Nathan will confirm availability.

Yes. Collaboration with your event team, agency, venue, and AV provider is standard. I operate within the agreed run of show and work closely with your show caller and AV team on cues, timing, and transitions. My role is to protect your program, not to work against the people delivering it.

Real-time timing management is core to the Event Producer approach. I track the program actively throughout the event, work with your event team to identify where adjustments are needed, and implement changes diplomatically — without making the issue visible to the audience. Your program is protected, not just announced.
